Charles H. Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center

Project type

Branded Interior, Museum Design

The Medal of Honor Museum was conceived as a space that embodies the values of the nation’s highest military distinction—patriotism, courage, integrity, sacrifice, and commitment. Each of these character traits guided the design process and is represented within dedicated exhibit areas that together form a cohesive narrative of honor and service.

The museum’s layout follows a chronological timeline of U.S. conflicts, educating visitors about the individuals who have received the Medal of Honor and the stories behind their heroism. The content developed helped shaped the spatial organization and visual storytelling throughout the exhibits.

The environment combines custom-built platforms, exhibit walls, lighting, AV elements, and immersive scenic displays to create a deeply engaging visitor experience. From the bold architectural forms to the intimate storytelling details, every design decision reinforces the museum’s mission—to honor extraordinary bravery and inspire future generations.
